Hi, I’m Mónica

A wellness hotelier, art collector, yogi and an unshakable optimist dedicated to helping you achieve your healthiest self, so you can go out to the world and become the person you most want to be.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been insatiably curious about wellness. I wanted to know, what exactly is that makes people genuinely healthy, balance and happy. 

Why do some people struggle with their health while others seem well despite cha most challenging circumstances? 

I am multi-passionate; don’t (and never will) fit in a conventional box. I am also passionate about a multitude of seemingly unconnected things: art, hospitality, yoga, cooking, entrepreneurship, creativity, spirituality, fitness and philanthropy, just to name a few.

 After finishing both high school and ballet school in Guayaquil, I moved to Lausanne to become a wellness passionate hotelier – From the peaceful haven of life that is Chiva-Som Health Resorts in Thailand, to the non-stop frenzy of The Kenpinski Hotels Headquarters, to working for Oberoi Spas in Indonesia and being in the pre-opening, opening and first years of operation of Pikaia Lodge in Galapagos. I gaining experience in various corporate jobs and realized that my true passion was in combining my skills to help other achieve wellness. 

With the unconditional support of my husband, I gave up the security of the 9-5 and began slowly building a health and wellness business from the ground up.

 From my patients , I continue to learn new things each day and expand my own ideas about what it means to live a fully balanced and meaningful life.
